Faculty position to teach on the Spartanburg and/or Greenville campus.
The University of South Carolina Upstate Division of Mathematics and Computer Science is accepting applications for a non-tenure track Instructor of Computer Science with a start date of January 1, 2023, or August 16, 2023. Duties will include teaching undergraduate courses in computer science, advising students, and participating in internal and external service activities.

Required Education and Experience
Master’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field with a minimum of 18 hours of graduate work in Computer Science is required by time of appointment. Candidates must have excellent communication skills. A successful background check is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science with coursework in one or more of the following areas: Computer Organization and Architecture, Java, Python, C++, Database, Data Mining, E-Business and Web Application Development. Relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.
