Instructor in Emergency Medical Services & Health Sciences, beginning Fall 2024 (Appointment-Stream)  

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is currently seeking a Full-Time Instructor of Emergency Medical Services & Health Sciences (Appointment-Stream) in the Division of Biological & Health Sciences, beginning Fall 2024.

Requirements: M.S. in Emergency Medical Services, Athletic Training, or a closely related field with a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates. Experience teaching at the university or collegiate level is preferred. Candidates experienced working with college students from diverse backgrounds and applied experience in the field of expertise are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities: Applicants must be able to teach 12 credits per semester in Emergency Medical Services and Health Sciences at the undergraduate level. Course assignments will include Emergency Medicine Technician Labs and lower-level lectures and/or labs in physical education and health-related courses like Human Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, etc. Athletic Training and EMS experience is a plus. The successful candidate will need to attend safety and blood-born pathogen training.
