Job Summary 

This role will serve as the lead researcher on the medical cannabis research, provide study design, manage clinical studies, responsible for data analysis and preparing for manuscripts.

Essential Functions 

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of medical cannabis research projects in the department of psychiatry.
• Lead or participate in designing clinical studies in the area of medical cannabis research.
• Lead or participate in data analysis, manuscript writing, and grant applications.
• Participate in teaching medical students and psychiatry residents under the direction of Department Chair.

Required Qualifications 

• Minimum of a PhD or Doctorate in Neuroscience

Preferred Qualifications 

• Candidate is familiar with psychiatric drug development and clinical trial design.

Physical Requirements 

• Typically sitting at a desk/table.

Location 

• Center City – Philadelphia, PA  

Additional Information 

This is a full-time Faculty position classified as Exempt. The offered salary is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
