Summary of Job Duties:

The Institutional Research Analyst works under the supervision of the Dean of Institutional Effectiveness and will be responsible for supporting the Director of Institutional Research and Dean of Institutional Effectiveness with data and reporting requirements.
Responsibilities:
· Assisting with gathering data and compiling mandatory reports for local, state and national agencies
· Assisting with internal and external data requests
· Tracking student persistence, retention, attrition, completions, graduation and updating the website and other areas where applicable.
· Participating in the assurance of data integrity of institutional information systems and databases as a data warehouse
· Assisting with updating and maintaining computerized databases, spreadsheets, and statistical programs.
· Assisting with student learning assessment plans and determine institutional data needs and timelines
· Assisting the Dean of Institutional Effectiveness with the college’s accreditation, self-study, and site visits
· Assisting with the institution’s strategic and operational planning, policy formation, and decision making
· Assisting with the coordination of institution-wide program reviews
· Assisting with ensuring the data quality is accurate, reliable and can be validated relatedto the Student Information System (SIS) conversion to Workday and data entry and coding for ADHE and other reporting agencies
· Preparing and assisting with the submission of reports for the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), and the Arkansas Department of Higher Education as per their specification
· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree or higher, preferred degree in statistics, research, organizational development, social science, business, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferred degree in statistics, research, organizational development, social science, business, or related field.

Preferred experience in education, institutional research.

Familiar with various data tools, SPSS, PowerBI, SAS. Experience with Workday.

Salary Information:


$16.00 to $20.00 per hour. Commensurate with education and experience.
