The Information Technology Technician will assist the Information Technologist IV in providing technical hardware and software support to the Computer Science department. General duties are:Technical Support and System Administration (80%): Provide technical hardware and software support. Install and upgrade software and hardware for instruction and research purposes. Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures.Planning (10%): Investigate potential software and hardware upgrades and additions.Operation (10%): Monitor system health and assist with routine system maintenance.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and 1-3 years experience.
