Job Summary
The Kentucky Transportation Center (KTC) enjoys a strong national reputation in selected, high-priority areas of research and technology transfer. KTC researchers are widely known for their subject matter expertise, group facilitation skills, effective communications, and project management skills.
The Information Specialist Senior manages the flow of KTC’s Technology Transfer department’s information to elected officials, local and state governments, stakeholders, partners and the public. This role is responsible for developing an annual marketing plan, press releases, planning promotions for conferences/exhibits, event photography, artwork, logos, graphics, and designing website pages, training materials and designing workshop handouts.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Programs including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016, Writing, Editing, Communication

Preferred Education/Experience
Preferred Experience in managing marketing information. Experience in commutations with elected officials, local and state governments, stakeholders, partners and the public. Experience with developing marketing plans, press releases, planning promotions for conferences/exhibits, event photography, artwork, logos, graphics, and designing website pages, training materials and designing workshop handouts. Technical experience in Adobe Creative Cloud Programs including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016, Writing, Editing, Communication. Driver’s license preferred.
