Job Summary: |
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated qualitative researcher to join the Claw Indigenous Genomics and Ethics Laboratory at the Colorado Center for Personalized Medicine within the Department of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Dr. Katrina Claw as needed. This includes various mixed methods research including, but not limited to, development of codebooks, coding of interviews and focus group data, data analysis of qualitative and survey data, hosting deliberative discussions and community meetings, and other methods according to established projects in the lab. A full-time position is available to assist with the ongoing mixed methods projects researching the cultural, ethical, legal, and social implications of genomic research projects in Indigenous and other historically underrepresented communities, and it’s relation to health, disease, and personalized medicine. Dr. Claw will personally provide training in ethical research and community-based participatory research approaches. Opportunities to work with Indigenous communities may be available. Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range ) for this position has been established as: Entry Level: $50,864 – $64,699 Intermediate Level: $55,352 – $70,407 Senior Level: $59,840 – $76,116 Principal Level: $68,815 – $87,533 The above salary range (or hiring range ) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
