Position Summary:


This position is detail oriented and regulatory based. This individual will serve as a
contact point for the research community for questions or concerns with research involving Biohazardous agents, microorganisms containing recombinant DNA, and Select Agents.
The IBC Administrator II will independently coordinate IBC meetings, perform pre-reviews and write review letters. Will maintain the IBC protocol database and assist investigators with the RSS
submission system. This individual will maintain records of laboratory inspections, biosafety training, and biohazardous agents. This individual will also assist the Chair, Biosafety Officers, and the Institutional Official in developing IBC policies and procedures. Will collaborate with other departments on IBC/biosafety matters.

Salary Range: $57,600 - $86,400/annual
