What will I be doing in this role:

As an iOS Engineer you will be responsible for supporting existing iOS applications and developing new applications ('apps') for Apple devices (iOS) and managing their submission to the Apple App Store. You will work as part of a team to define, design, and implement features in the application. You will identify and correct deficiencies and fix errors in codes that show as bugs.

  • Design and build applications for iOS platforms
  • Ensure performance and quality of the application
  • Collaborate with cross functional team to define and design the app
  • Perform checks on correct functionality of app
  • Integrate application with backend tools such as databases, cloud, APIs, and push notifications
  • Responsible to help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
  • Responsible for providing prototypes and proofs of concepts
  • Use encryption tools to safeguard content

Experience Requirements:

  • Five (5)+ years of experience in IT Development. (mobile development preferred)
  • Three (3)+ years of experience as an iOS developer in an enterprise setting.
  • Past responsibility for one or more applications currently available in the Apple App Store.
  • Expert in Swift programming, understanding of Objective C programming.
  • Familiar and comfortable with JSP, JavaScript, JSON, HTML, and XML.
  • UI and UX experience.
  • Proficiency with graphics and iOS frameworks.
  • Adept with benchmarking and modification.
  • Familiar with Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Proficiency with offline storage, threading and performance tuning.
  • Knowledgeable of cloud message API and push notifications.
  • Familiar with the Apple App Store submissions process and iTunes Connect.
  • Familiar with GitHub and version management/change control processes.
  • Technical understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with HealthKit and ResearchKit a plus.
  • Experience with AWS services a plus.
  • Experience in healthcare IT a plus.

Education/Certificate Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. (preferred)

Mobile application development certification. (preferred)
