Hyflex Education Facilitator (Hourly/Temporary) - UW Department of Health Systems and Population Health

The Department of Health Systems & Population Health has an outstanding opportunity for a Temporary, Part-Time Hyflex Education Facilitator. The primary responsibility of this position is to facilitate the course sessions in the Health Management and Informatics hyflex programs, housed in the Department of Health Systems and Population Health, School of Public Health. The position holder will manage the in-class technology (Microsoft Hub and additional camera, monitor, and microphone arrays) and the meeting platform, Microsoft Teams, to ensure the effective participation of in-person instruction and synchronously attending online students at the Global Innovation Exchange (GIX) building in Bellevue, Washington.

Position Responsibilities/Specific Tasks:
Under the general direction of the Senior Associate Director of Curriculum, the position will:
• Support faculty on use of Microsoft Surface Hub
• Manage Microsoft Teams meeting controls, including breakout rooms, recordings,
• Monitor online student participation (chat, screen share, etc.)
• Setup and shutdown classroom technology
• Provide technical assistance to students for Microsoft Teams
