- Description
- The Colville National Forest, Tonasket Ranger District is hiring a hydrologic technician for the summer 2023. This is a flexible position that would be suitable for summer work to accomodate spring and fall classes, but could also be funded up to six months with possible further extensions. Position will include extensive training, stream surveys, assisting with fisheries surveys, channel morphology surveys, lake condition surveys, flow modeling, and forest plan monitoring work. Work schedule is (4) 10-hour days leaving three day weekends to explore the nearby Cascades, Rockies and Canada.
- Qualifications
- Basic qualifications include some college education in fisheries/hydrology/biological science, a passion for the outdoors.
