Also a part of TEACCH is the Carolina Living and Learning Center, a residential/vocational training facility for autistic adults as well as an Employment Services program providing Job Coaching and related services to adults on the spectrum. TEACCH provides clinical services such as diagnostic evaluations, parent training and parent support groups, social play and recreation groups, and individual counseling for individuals with ASD. The residential and supported employment programs provide specialized services to individuals with ASD and are models for implementing such programs. In addition, TEACCH conducts research on outcomes and efficacy of intervention methods to support evidence-based practice. TEACCH is part of the North Carolina Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) program and faculty are actively involved in student and professional training activities within the state, nation, and across the world.
