Position Summary/Description:


Early Psychosis Interventions in North Carolina (EPI-NC) provides technical assistance and clinical training, quality improvement data collection and analysis and fidelity monitoring to First Episode Psychosis Coordinated Specialty Care Programs (FEP CSCs) in North Carolina. EPI-NC also performs community outreach and education with the aim of reducing duration of untreated psychosis and works with the Programs to implement new, evidenced based interventions. Early Psychosis Interventions in North Carolina (EPI-NC) provides consultation to the NC Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services on the developmental and implementation of clinical services to youth recovering from first episode psychosis. OASIS is a Coordinated Care Service provider for youth recovering from first episode psychosis.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical assistance and coordination work to EPI-NC. The person in this position will develop the statewide database of early psychosis intervention resources, and manage the operations of the statewide warmline. Specific duties also include quality assurance for the outreach, operations, and outcome measurement for the warmline and coordinating with inpatient and outpatient clinics in the state of NC that treat individuals with early-stage psychosis. The person in this position would act as a resource hub for the warmline and will troubleshoot issues as they arise. This position also involves leading regularly scheduled calls with EPI-NC leadership and E-PROMPT coordinators. Work also involves developing outcome tools/data collection methods related to the warmline utilization and integrating these with outreach to care providers and CSC clinics.

Education and Experience:


Bachelor's degree in a related Human Services discipline and three years of experience related to the area of assignment, or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
