HR Benefits, Analytics and Information Systems, a unit of UWHR, has an outstanding full time opportunity for a Human Resources Specialist.

The Human Resources Specialist will report to the Operations and Support Manager and function as a support analyst, working with HR staff to aid in the coordination of unit business functions and triage and monitor progress of customer service and work requests.

Depending on the scope of the projects, this position may provide some or all of the following: overall project management; needs assessment; problem analysis; technology evaluation; project scheduling and tracking; identification of initial and ongoing training and support requirements; project and service-related documentation; coordination of activities to support service delivery.


Customer Support

This position will analyze, triage and address complex incoming customer support questions posed by all levels of University employees including executives, retirees and any individuals seeking information related to application of benefit policies and procedures, questions regarding impact of union negotiated payments,  questions regarding public records and union information requests and provide professional level trouble shooting and support to other complex benefit or HRIS related inquiries. This position must successfully interpret and apply established rules, policies, regulations and procedures.
