This pivotal role offers the opportunity to drive innovation and support excellence through strategic HR initiatives. The HR Manager ensures consistent interpretation and implementation of administrative and human resource policies and procedures throughout the department. This position collaborates with the Vice Chair for DEI and the DEI team to further the department’s goals of being inclusive and reflecting the populations that we serve. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to supervision, recruitment, appointment, dismissal, the annual performance evaluation process, and maintenance of personnel files and leave utilization records of all faculty and staff in the Department of Family Medicine. Strong communication skills are essential for crafting precise documentation, while adept verbal communication is crucial for conducting productive meetings, facilitating training sessions, and resolving employee concerns with empathy and professionalism. Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $68,000 - $86,000. The above salary range (or hiring range ) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
