Are you a change agent in the Human Resources space? The Division of Human Resources & Organizational Effectiveness at Texas A&M University has opportunities available for Human Resources Manager that will continue our service-oriented, people forward changes for how we deliver support to our customers via the service HUBs. We need you to bring your broad HR management experience to organize, manage and lead all human resources functions in managing HR Generalists. Your communication and relationship building skills and experience are keys to success in support of the divisions and departments.

Opportunities to contribute:

  • Demonstrate strong communication and relationship building skills and experience

  • Provide guidance to departments and management regarding HR practices, compliance, laws, regulations and ethics

  • Research and complete various projects, as requested by HR Leadership

  • Assist in developing strategic plans for the Human Resources unit

  • Oversee and manage training and specialized training programs

  • Manage and approve actions in HRIS (Workday) and troubleshoot and resolve issues

  • Advise staff on processes and procedures

  • Supervise and train staff

 

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications for this position includes: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, as well as an additional five years of related HR Management experience.

A well-qualified candidate for this position would possess the following: Bachelor’s in Human Resources or closely related field; More than 5 years of broad Human Resources management experience covering areas such as benefits, payroll, recruitment, employee relations, onboarding and class & comp and experience with Workday or a related Human Capital Management system and previous experience with Texas A&M University system member. For some positions, experience managing HR personnel in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
