We have changed the way we deliver Human Resources services at Texas A&M University with new organizational structures and new opportunities for Human Resources Professionals. We have multiple opportunities for Human Resources Generalists at all experience and skill levels. These positions are integral to the success of service-oriented, people forward changes. The HR Generalist will provide Human Resources and Payroll support to customers in the creation, posting and processing of Human Resources actions in Workday or related systems. Maintaining personnel records, processing payroll and preparing HR documents for approval and processing will be core of your daily work. If you are already a Human Resources Professional with broader experiences, your responsibilities include providing guidance on university, state and federal rules, laws and requirements for Human Resources and Payroll. Providing feedback and working with Central HR to develop and amend policies and processes and providing training, mentoring and team leadership will allow you to contribute at your level of expertise. You will acquire and maintain your expertise in Human Resources laws, regulations and guidelines. Special care is taken to ensure the right development opportunities are planned to advance your career. The positions are located in Dallas, Texas.

Qualifications*

Minimum qualifications for an entry level position include: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, no additional experience needed. Start your Human Resources career with us!

Minimum qualifications for advanced level positions include: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and up to four years human resources and/or payroll experience.

The well-qualified candidate would possess the following: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or closely related field; medium to strong (5 or more years) experience as a Human Resources generalist and experience with Workday or related Human Capital Management (HCM) application.
