HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR,Computer Sciences and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) (2 openings), to provide human resources (HR) services and support to a lab comprised of over 1000 faculty, staff, postdocs, and students. Will coordinate HR activities and advise on HR policies, procedures, and best practices; provides input on CSAIL HR programs, policies, and procedures; and assist CSAIL faculty and managers with recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, HR policy interpretation and guidance, and personnel recordkeeping. May produce reports, coordinate events, review salary distributions, document procedures, and participate in special projects.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field; at least two years of direct HR experience; general knowledge of basic HR functional areas such as recruitment, employee relations, compensation, policies and procedures, onboarding, labor relations, performance management, and training; ability to learn and consistently apply general HR policies, regulations, and employment laws; ability to maintain the utmost level of confidentiality and effectively handle highly sensitive and personal information with sound judgment and discretion; and strong employee-relations skills; and the ability to work with and respond effectively to a wide variety of people at all levels.
