The University of Texas at Dallas has an excellent job opportunity for an individual looking to join UT Dallas as an HR Coordinator II in the Office of Human Resources department.
We are looking for someone with a high school diploma and two years of HR or administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Under the direction of the team leadership, this position will be responsible for performing administrative, customer service, program coordination, and data entry duties in support of processes and programs specific to the Employment & Compensation functions. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of new hire onboarding processes and I9 management. The HR Coordinator will meet in-person and virtually with newly hired employees to review I9 supporting documents, respond to employee inquiries, and provide guidance and recommended courses of action.

Minimum Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent 
- 2 years of HR or administrative experience
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree
  • 3-4 years related HR support experience
  • I9 Management experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and provide administrative support for new hire onboarding.
  • Ensure new hire documents are completed, process I-9 verifications, and scan documents to electronic personnel files.
  • Maintain I-9 files, perform I-9 audits, and conduct reverifications as required.
  • Collaborate with with stakeholders to streamline the electronic onboarding process.
  • Enter new hire ePAR requests into PeopleSoft.
  • Monitor various HR email accounts and assign emails to appropriate staff.
  • Review and approve independent contractor requests in eProcurement
  • Other duties as assigned.

Remote Work Notice
After completion of training and with manager approval, this position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. An approved remote work agreement is required.
