JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Human Resources is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused individual who will develop, plan, and implement a wide variety of human resources activities across multiple human resource functions primarily at the Penn State Mont Alto campus, as well as remote support for Penn State York, Harrisburg, and Dickinson Law, as needed.

The Human Resources function includes recruitment, hiring and retention; diversity, inclusion and belonging initiatives; employee and labor relations; equal opportunity; organizational development; talent management; total rewards and compensation; position management; and compliance monitoring. The position will counsel full-time and part-time employees, as well as management on policies and procedures; initiate and/or respond to inquiries such as performance concerns; analyze data and prepare reports; provide unit representation on various committees; and work with the Human Resources staff to implement new and/or continuing legal requirements or initiatives.

This position, reporting to the Regional HR Strategic Partner, operates with a high level of discretion within established guidelines, and may periodically travel to and/or support other campuses in the region.

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.
