Description | The Human Resources (HR) and Title IX and Civil Rights Compliance teams at the University of New England provide a variety of support systems and development opportunities helping to retain a talented workforce working to foster a productive environment. The HR Benefits Assistant is a key member of the team serving as the primary point of contact for all external and internal visitors and callers. The University’s Human Resources Benefits Assistant enables the effective delivery of benefit services to employees, with primary responsibility for coordinating initiatives involving enrollment, communication of benefit programs, educating employees on medical leave options, and assisting with the workers’ compensation process as appropriate. The Benefits Assistant is responsible for administering day-to-day operations of all benefit plans and providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate must demonstrate analytical capabilities and strong interpersonal, communications and customer service skills. This position works under general supervision of the HR Benefits & Disability Manager. UNE offers a generous comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees. Qualifications | Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other appropriate discipline, plus 0-2 experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
