Position Summary | The Division of Exercise & Health Sciences in the School of Health Sciences at Central Michigan University invites applicants for a non-benefit eligible part-time (12 credits), summer fixed-term faculty position. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Teaching: The successful candidate is expected to teach Human cadaver anatomy with labs in a face-to-face format in a required course for Physician Assistant Master’s and Doctor of Physical Therapy students during Summer 2024 session. |

About the Department | The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions consists of five academic Units (Physical Education and Sport, Communication Sciences and Disorders, the School of Health Sciences, the Department of Physical Therapy, and the School of Rehabilitation and Medical Science). It offers undergraduate and/or graduate degree programs in American Sign Language, audiology, communication disorders, public health, health administration, school health education, physical therapy, physician assistant, exercise science, substance use disorders, speech-language pathology, physical assistant, athletic training, athletic coaching and sports management, delivered by 100+ faculty/staff. The School of Health Sciences provides benefits to a diverse society and its learners by ensuring superior educational and growth opportunities and high academic standards; conducting and participating in scholarly endeavors and coordinating the assessment of professional competencies that assists in the development of productive professionals and upstanding citizens. Areas of study offered within the school include undergraduate programs in public health and pre-health professional tracks, health administration, exercise science, and substance use disorders. Graduate programs include master’s degrees in exercise science (MS), public health (MPH), health administration (MHA), and a doctorate in Health Administration (DHA). The Division of Exercise and Health Sciences is a unit of the School of Health Sciences. Areas of study within the Division of Exercise & Health Sciences include undergraduate majors in Kinesiology, Health Fitness & Performance, and Clinical Exercise Science, as well as the master’s degree in Exercise Physiology (MS).
