Position Summary
The Division of Exercise & Health Sciences in the School of Health Sciences at Central Michigan University invites applicants for a non-benefit eligible part-time (12 credits), summer fixed-term faculty position. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Teaching: The successful candidate is expected to teach Human cadaver anatomy with labs in a face-to-face format in a required course for Physician Assistant Master’s and Doctor of Physical Therapy students during Summer 2024 session.
Required Qualifications
  • Master’s in anatomy, or related field ;
  • Minimum of three years of anatomy teaching experience;
  • The ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated successful teaching at the college level or with adult learners;
  • Experience in anatomy education;
  • Proficiency in use of technology;
  • Effective written/oral communication skills; and involvement with professional organizations at state/national level.

About the Department
The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions consists of five academic Units (Physical Education and Sport, Communication Sciences and Disorders, the School of Health Sciences, the Department of Physical Therapy, and the School of Rehabilitation and Medical Science). It offers undergraduate and/or graduate degree programs in American Sign Language, audiology, communication disorders, public health, health administration, school health education, physical therapy, physician assistant, exercise science, substance use disorders, speech-language pathology, physical assistant, athletic training, athletic coaching and sports management, delivered by 100+ faculty/staff.
