The Ohio State University is requesting employees enter their education and experience data in Workday, so that an analysis of their qualifications against job requirement can be conducted.  Human Resources Project Specialists are needed to support this effort, working directly with HR/Compensation staff.

This team will support the data collection process by assisting OSU leaders and staff with questions and demonstrations of the Employee History and Employee Education entry into Workday. 

In addition, an analysis of worker qualifications will need to be conducted to determine the overall number of years of creditable, relevant education and experience factors.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, with strong analytical skills.   They will operate in a self-directed manner, but will be expected to partner with Compensation Consultants and or HR Business Consultants to resolve issues related to difficult and/or ambiguous cases. 

This work will be primarily remote with the occasional need to be in the Gateway office on North High Street in Columbus, OH. Work will be full time, Monday - Friday.  Part time schedules may be considered. 

Essential Job Duties:

70% - Analyzes content of a worker’s history and determines appropriate credit for education and experience based on established guidelines.  Enters creditable experience into templates for review by Compensation and HR Consultants.  Requests assistance regarding difficult cases and documents resolution for future reference. 

25% - Support the data collection process by assisting OSU leaders and staff with questions and demonstrations of the Employee History and Employee Education entry into Workday. 

5% - Other duties assigned.

Experience:

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resource Administration or Business Administration, or equivalent Human Resources experience is required. 

  • 1+ year of Human Resource experience above degree requirement or a Master’s degree preferred. 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel required. 

  • Must be flexible and be able to adapt to changing priorities and project timelines.   

  • The candidate must have outstanding organizational and interpersonal communications skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently to meet project deadlines. 

  • The candidate must have an aptitude to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.


Additional Information:

The target hiring range is $30.00/hr. This is a temporary position to complete project work, is not to exceed 9 months.
