UAA's Administrative unit has an outstanding opportunity for an HR/Payroll Manager to join their team.

The HR/Payroll Manager is a member of the UAA Administrative team and works with the HR Director to perform a wide variety of complex and confidential administrative duties to support UAA department personnel. The HR/Payroll Manager oversees the student employment program and is responsible for providing HR project management and support. The HR/Payroll Manager acts in an advisory and support capacity to provide resources and policy guidelines for UAA departments. The HR/Payroll Manager holds expertise in the area of student employment, payroll, and staff and faculty excess compensation processes. The HR/Payroll Manager works with hiring managers to prepare for annual hires as well as meets with students to provide assistance in completing hire actions. The HR/Payroll Manager prepares communications for both staff and students in regard to payroll to ensure compliance with university, state, and federal policies.

Reporting to the UAA HR Director, the HR/Payroll Manager has the following responsibilities:
