The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Housing Coordinator on the Dahlonega campus. The housing coordinator will manage housing portal software from application, room selection, through housing contract completion. Position is eligible for work from home or hybrid assignment.

  • Maintain adequate reports of housing occupancy and billing history for internal and external requests. Ensure accuracy of housing and meal plan charges on student accounts including daily assessments between Banner and StarRez.
  • Process forms related to resident housing contract status. Provide daily coordination of housing occupancy through administering housing contracts and cancellation requests.
  • Provide accurate and consistent communication and distribution of housing information to incoming and current students.
  • Maintain communication with the housing staff and affected residents regarding housing charges, housing assignments, and room changes.
  • Coordinates housing contract appeals committee meetings including student communication, collect information for appeals, and fee adjustments as necessary. Works closely with campus partners in Student Affairs/Enrollment Management and Business and Finance who serve on appeals committee.
  • Assist with students and parent walk-ins, phone, and email inquiries regarding housing contracts and room changes.
  • Maintain student housing files in Banner, StarRez, Genetec/Persona.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Banner knowledge.

  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience with Banner and housing mangement software preferred.
