Purpose of the Position | This position will ensure the cleanliness of assigned areas by performing various housekeeping tasks. |
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Related to Position | Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning supplies Ability to operate cleaning equipment Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs., tolerate frequent bending, stooping, and climbing stairs Ability to follow oral and written instructions Ability to work a flexible schedule Ability to communicate effectively and to maintain positive relations with faculty, staff and students Skilled in the use of housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaner, buffers, and scrubbing machine |
