Summary of Essential Job Duties: 

The Hospitality Services Education PART-TIME Administrative Assistant under the direction of the Program Educator coordinates and executes a variety of educational activities for the Hospitality Services Team ensuring the highest levels of training quality. The position is responsible for maintaining accurate training documentation and records ensuring State and Federal Regulatory Compliances and department assigned courses are delivered and completed on-time; additionally the position requires the candidate to plan, prepare and conduct group & individual training sessions in a classroom and on-line setting, demonstrates effective communication and coordination with department leaders, supervisors, staff and customers, works collaboratively with teams of diverse background ds, maintains all employee employment records and filing. Key professional required skills include exceptional organization, operational knowledge of Windows software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint programs and must work well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment using effective time-management. 


Educational Requirements: 

College Degree Preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. 

Experience: 2 years of administrative experience required. 

Must possess a working knowledge of Windows Software including Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Must additionally possess a working knowledge of spreadsheets, presentation development, E-Mail, browsers and on-line reporting. 

Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills (verbal and written). Demonstrates exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. 

Physical Demands: 

(e.g., lifting, standing, walking) Required to walk and stand for extended periods of time. Physical ability and perceptive acuity to satisfactorily perform all transportation activities. Vision sufficient to work at a computer, hearing sufficient for telephone transactions. Lifting (10 – 20 pounds) may occasionally be required.
