UW Medicine Supply Chain currently has an outstanding opportunity for a HOSPITAL CENTRAL SERVICES - SUPERVISOR.

UW Medicine Supply Chain Management’s objective is to ensure our patient care experience is enhanced by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.

The Supervisor, Materials & Logistics is based in the local entity this position supports and reports directly to the Manager, Materials & Logistics. This position is accountable for the collaborative integration, implementation, and optimization of the UW Medicine Materials and Logistics strategy at the entity level in close coordination with the Manager, Materials & Logistics.  This position is responsible for daily supervision of all supply chain materials and logistics functions to include distribution, picking, put-away, par management, and point of use technology.  The Supervisor, Materials & Logistics, develops and conducts employee annual performance review and participates in budget development under the direction of the Manager, Materials & Logistics.

This position also is responsible for working with key operational stakeholders within their specific entity as well as their peers within Supply Chain to include participating in and partnering with others on UW Medicine Materials and Logistics operational improvement efforts and programs ensuring a compliant, effective, and streamlined operational supply chain experience at the entity for all of the customers they serve.

Under the direction of the Manager, Materials & Logistics, this position administers daily Supply Chain materials and logistics functions at their specific entity.

The incumbent performs all duties in a manner that promotes the UW Medicine Mission, Core Values, and philosophy. In all aspects, he/she serves as a role model for the Core Values and Mission of the organization.
