Department of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at Missouri S&T is seeking a motivated high school student to join the Cloud and Aerosol Laboratory for Summer 2024. Primary responsibilities for this role include: 

  • Conducting general laboratory maintenance to ensure functionality and cleanlieness
  • Managing inventory and restocking laboratory supplies to sustain seamless operations
  • Collaborating with technical personnel to assist in routine tasks on a daily and weekly basis
  • Streamlining operations by organizing standard procedures and maintaining an up-to-date catalog of technical resources in the laboratory library

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $12.00 hourly.  


Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
