Clark County Public Health’s (CCPH) mission is to collaborate with partners and the public to protect and improve the health of all people in Clark County. CCPH’s Health Assessment and Evaluation (HAE) team works to develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of health in our community and translate data into action by carrying out a variety of assessment and evaluation activities, including:

  • Providing technical assistance to community partners for activities requiring qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
  • Developing and maintaining community partnerships to disseminate community health information and address priority health issues.
  • Monitoring morbidity and mortality data and trends in population-level health and social behaviors.
  • Identifying trends emerging health issues and inequities associated with institutional and structural racism.
  • Guiding organizational, local, and regional program and policy development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Providing emergency response support as needed.

Clark County Public Health’s HAE team is recruiting an Assessment Program Coordinator I position. This position will report to the Healthy Communities’ Program Manager at Clark County Public Health and will fulfill the following key job functions:

  • Support neighboring Skamania County in completing regular Community Health Assessments (CHA) and Community Health Improvement Plans (CHIP).
  • Support HAE health planning and assessment priorities at Clark County Public Health.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree and three years of relevant experience in public health, environmental, education, planning, research or other related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential functions of work.
