Description:
Job Summary Reporting to the Executive Director for the Student Health Center and receiving general direction from the Health Services Analyst, the Health Services Coordinator provides unit/department administrative support and student/program educational support. This includes any needed technical or health information expertise for the Student Wellness Center (SWC) to support student education and success. Health information work includes maintaining confidentiality of health records, overseeing any release of records, transcription of records, and coordination patient access, flow, scheduling, and education. The Health Services Coordinator assists the Health Services/Administration Analyst in meeting Administration Unit (staff and student) objectives. The incumbent might support the work of any other SWC Education Assistant (and Administrative Support Assistants). The incumbent works with students and campus colleges via 1:1 and small group interactions, phoning, emailing conducting database analysis, tabling and presentations. Working collaboratively to support student success is the bottom line purpose of this and all SWC positions.
