The Health Screener & Employee Resources Clerk (Per Diem) provides proper screening to employees, patients, and visitors entering the Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey. Responsibilities include communicating entry requirements, screening those who meet requirements and upholding facility and visitor policy standards. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Greet and welcome employees, patients, and visitors entering through the screening location
    • Maintain professionalism when interacting with all levels of internal and external customers
    • Provide hand sanitizer and/or daily surgical mask
    • Screen every employee, patient, and visitor with questionnaire listing all COVID symptoms
    • Administer, interpret, and monitor individual temperatures utilizing handheld infrared thermometer or other approved devices. Must be comfortable with coming into close contact.

Evening Shift:12:00pm - 8:30pm

High School diploma or the equivalent (preferred).

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing (required).

Additional languages (preferred).

Excellent customer service skills (required).

Basic computer knowledge (required)

At least three (3) years Customer service experience (required).
