The University of Oklahoma, College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Health and Exercise is hiring additional faculty to accommodate an increasing student demand and to broaden the research scope that is in line with the overall mission of the University. We encourage creative, innovative, dynamic individuals who would like to be part of a strong team committed to both teaching and research to apply for a 9-month tenure-track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor position in Health Promotion beginning Fall, 2020.
The Department of Health and Exercise Science is an interdisciplinary program, and one of the largest in the College of Arts and Sciences and nationally ranked among the best programs in the country by the National Academy of Kinesiology. The program focuses on Health Promotion and Exercise Physiology and integrates the biological, physiological, medical, and behavioral sciences as they relate to physiological responses to exercise and other aspects of human health. Our faculty balance teaching (45%), research (45%), and service (10%).
