JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Assists in the development, implementation, evaluation and reporting of the Health Professions Readiness Education Program (HealthPREP) within the Office Multicultural Affairs (OMA).
  • Leads the administrative duties related to HealthPREP, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring key program components.
  • Can represent the OMA at HealthPREP seminars, workshops, and related events.
  • Oversees or assists in developing operational and statistical reports for OMA.
  • Ensures required records and documentation are maintained.
  • May develop and present speeches or presentations to generate or enhance awareness of program(s).
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.
  • This is a temporary, part-time position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Program/project management and/or office administration experience. Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program(s) and one year of related experience to student/administrative support, OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
  • Effective public speaking and organizational skills.
  • A high level of professionalism.
  • The candidate must be committed to working with diverse student populations, including those coming from first generation and/or low-income backgrounds.
  • This position will require being able to carry/lift weight up to 10 pounds  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Ability to function independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability creating content for and working with different learner populations (ex. undergraduate and post-baccalaureate). 
  • Experience working with diversity, equity, inclusion. 
  • Excellent written/oral communication. 
  • Ability to take and apply constructive feedback.  
  • Preferred computer skills: data management (Excel), design (Canva) and Website educational page creation (Canvas). 
  • Availability and flexibility for occasional weekend and evening events, as needed.

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location.  Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
