Job Summary

The key components of the job will be to:
1. Provide front and back-office support, triage, and reproductive and sexual health counseling to primarily 12–25-year-old clients.
2. Provide planning and preparation for the transition of New Gen from a UCSF clinic to a DPH clinic including:
a. Make arrangements for patients over 25 who will no longer be supported by NGHC under DPH
b. Transition IT infrastructure and telephones
c. Other transition duties as assigned

The hourly compensation range for this role is $29.31 - $45.93 An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate, position requirements, AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.

Department Description

UCSF's Temporary Employment Program (TEP) recruits and hires temporary employees for immediate clerical and technical support services to UCSF Departments and various off-campus locations. UCSF departments deploy temporary employees to work on special projects, fill in for regular employees who are on vacation or leave, or to temporarily fill a vacant position during recruitment. Frequently temporary employees become successful candidates for career and limited appointment positions.


Required Qualifications

Working knowledge of the health promotion and education field. Skills associated with both the development and delivery of health education programs and services. Working knowledge of the design and delivery of related programs. Effective interpersonal skills needed to work with a diverse client group. Ability to acquire the requisite skills to analyze, interpret and respond to client needs. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
