In November 2021, Venice Family Clinic merged with South Bay Family Health Care, uniting more than a century of experience helping patients regardless of their income, insurance or immigration status. The organization now has more than 500 staff who serve 45,000 people from the Santa Monica Mountains through the South Bay. We have 17 locations plus two mobile clinics and an expansive street medicine program for people experiencing homelessness. Read more about us at: venicefamilyclinic.org Provide important administrative support with compassion and reassurance, and make a positive difference in others’ lives. As a Health Education Coordinator you will work under the guidance and direction of the Director of Health Education, and will be responsible for providing administrative support for the Health Education Department. The Health Educator Coordinator will: * Support program implementation and tracking process objectives, program deliverables, including data entry, file management, and logistics. * Assist the department with coordination of meetings, other needs, and general support. * Assist with food security programming, which includes carrying out Food Security events such as food distribution events. * Travel to other clinic sites and other outreach locations within Los Angeles County as required. * Participate in community outreach events; assist with focus groups, need assessment and advisory group meetings. * Maintain documents that support the Health Education Department and perform other duties as assigned.   • JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

Required: * College degree and CA State Driver’s License. * Strong organizational skills and problem solving skills. * Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, handle confidential and sensitive information, and work with minimal supervision. * Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher), knowledgeable in using the Internet as a research tool, and able to compose various business correspondence and reports. * Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and public speaking skills. * Ability and willingness to travel within Los Angeles County as needed. * Ability to meet the physical demands, which includes moving up to 30 pounds using proper technique, remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time, and kneeling/crouching. Preferred: Experience working in an administrative support capacity.
