Position Highlights | The incumbent will work under the direction of the Family, Consumer & Health Sciences Agent to manage activities and functions of the Child Care Health Consultation (CCHC) program to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with the Arizona Early Childhood Development and Health Board (First Things First) including priorities, time limitations, and methodology. This position provides health consultations to childcare centers and homes in the Pinal Regions (greater Pinal County); and works in coordination with the Arizona Early Childhood Development and Health Board (First Things First), the Arizona Board of Regents, and the University of Arizona on behalf of the Gila County Cooperative Extension. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and technical assistance to childcare providers on a wide range of health and safety topics. This position will provide training and appropriate resources to assist the childcare provider in successful inclusion of children with special health and/or behavior needs and will work as part of a team to develop educational materials which are appropriate for their audience.
