Job Description
Develops, directs, and coaches an intercollegiate Varsity Softball program. Instructs athletes in fundamentals of softball, coaches technique and strategy. Recruits scholarship and walk on athletes. Manages all aspects of the program including, scheduling, travel, equipment needs, budget, & staffing. Monitors academic progress of student athletes. Participates in development activities to promote the program. This position works in a creative and collaborative team environment where change is embraced and innovation is encouraged.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Level Degree
Additional Education Desired
Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience


Required Qualifications
Considerable coaching experience with a collegiate softball program required. Experience in an NCAA program as a coach or student athlete, and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations required. Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse student, staff and public constituency.
