Posting Summary | Assist with day-to-day implementation of the HEALthy Brain Child Development Study, a federally funded research study in the Department of Psychiatry. Recruit, screen and schedule study participants, obtain informed consent, and collect multiple types of data (interview, self-report, infant developmental assessments, biospecimens) with daily functional supervision from the Research Specialist. Utilize a variety of platforms for testing and data management. Assist with study regulatory and financial requirements, maintain files and records, use discretion regarding sensitive information, and maintain confidentiality within the framework of University guidelines. Additional responsibilities include compensating study subjects and assisting the Research Specialist with purchasing study-related equipment and supplies. Provide own transportation for occasional travel required to perform home visits to study participants, distribute flyers and incentive program initiatives. |
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) | Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or closely related discipline and one to three years’ related experience required. |
Desirable Qualifications | Prior research experience with infants, pregnant people, and clinical populations. Knowledge of RedCap. |
Other Information | The standard work shift is 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Work beyond these hours will occasionally be necessary . Shifts are assigned based on participant scheduling. |
Special Conditions | Bargaining unit position, Contingent on continued funding, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position |
