Position Summary:

The Department of Chemistry and Physics in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College invites applications for a Half-time position in Physics, to begin Fall of 2023. The successful candidate will teach courses across the physics curriculum to be determined by the candidate's experience and skill level and offer support to students moving through the Physics curriculum. There is a potential for evolution into a full-time, non-tenure track position depending on future enrollment patterns. Candidates must have a master's degree in physics, but a PhD in physics or an adjacent field along with teaching experience is preferred. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students, and ongoing scholarship.
