What you need to know

  • TTI is a Texas based agency. This position has the flexibility of a hybrid remote option with two days in a TTI Texas based office. This can be discussed further during the interview process.

  • The salary range for position is commensurate. Final salary will be determined based on the applicant's qualifications and experience.

Job Summary

The Graphic Designer II, under general supervision, is responsible for supporting of various web, digital, and print projects for marketing and communications needs of the university and TTI. Duties include designing graphics, and editing photos for use in multimedia, web sites, and other online purposes. Performs complex graphics design and consultation work.

Essential Duties

  • WEB: Assists in content strategy for responsive web design; creates wireframes and website designs for best user experience, and assists in production through completion. (30 %)

  • PRINT: Creates designs, writes project specifications, obtains pricing, preps files and oversees production; press checks if necessary. Designs brochures, signs, newsletters, presentation templates and materials, and other print media as needed. (20 %)

  • DIGITAL PRODUCTS: Creates motion graphics for use on web sites and multi-media presentations. Designs presentation templates, and social media materials as needed. (20%)

  • Maintains documentation for each project including approvals, comments, drafts, project time tracking and artwork. ( 10%)

  • Collaborates with customers as needed from concept to creation to customer support. Presents branding and design concepts to clients and partners in meetings. (5 %)

  • Acts as a technical resource in the area of graphics and publication design, digital software, hardware and latest techniques/trends. ( 5%)

  • Performs some or all of the duties of a Graphics Designer I. (5%)

  • Other duties as assigned. ( 5%)

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphics Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Two years of related experience in graphics design, web development, print and electronic media, marketing or related design field.

Preferred Education and Experience

Experience with Word Press.

Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills

Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Very knowledgeable in design software, such as the adobe suite.
