Under the general direction of the Innovation Hive Coordinator and Director, the position will establish the graphic identity and safety signage for the Innovation Lab.

Position Overview:  Join the dynamic environment of the Innovation Hive at the University of San Francisco (USF) as a Graphic Design Intern. This role provides an exciting opportunity to further establish the graphic identity and safety signage for the Innovation Lab.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Coordinator and Director of the Innovation Lab to create visually compelling graphics and layouts for various projects within the Innovation Hive.
• Execute design concepts based on project requirements and guidelines.
• Work closely with student Hive Lab Assistants to understand project goals and translate them into effective visual communication.
• Take part in feedback sessions and iterate designs based on constructive critiques.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Design at the University of San Francisco or have other relevant graphic design experience.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Preference given to a Junior or Senior who has completed Typography courses
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
