Summary of Job Duties:
This position is a 100% Extension appointment in the Department of Agricultural Economics & Agribusiness (AEAB) working within the Southern Risk Management Education Center.
Relevant expertise for consideration for this position includes a degree in social sciences and/or agriculture with demonstrated capacity to support customer service to program partners. Specific position duties include communicating with educators and program partners to detail project resources, programmatic training opportunities and support, as well as communicating resources to our project’s clientele.
This position will support the Project Director in building and maintaining the technical assistance network of educators, project partners and farmer advocates.

Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in a related area of study plus three (3) years of relevant professional experience is required. Demonstrated competence to independently manage programs is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in grants management and or experience in academic environment that includes adherence to Federal and/or state regulatory oversight
• Demonstrated experience with grants management software and reporting systems that use online environments
