Position Summary
Responsible for a broad range of business functions related to the administration and management of portfolio of research and programmatic grant submissions in the College of Nursing, Niedfelt Nursing Research Center (NNRC). Partner with faculty in budget development, submission, and pre-award management including grant management and reconciliation, cost allocation and forecasting, purchasing, contract management for NIH, HRSA, USDA, DOD, foundation, and intramural grants.

Must have strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.

Must be able to work independently, maintain confidentiality of privileged information, meet deadlines, and remain flexible to changing schedules and priorities.
Understanding of financial and regulatory environment.
Knowledge of Excel is essential.
Ability to make decisions and initiate actions in a manner that promotes an effective and efficient workplace by establishing workload priorities for the completion of tasks.
Preferred Education: Master's degree
