This position will design and maintain the digital presence of the Graduate School through its website, social media marketing, and innovative use of media to raise awareness of graduate certificates, degrees, events, and opportunities supporting graduate education. The Graduate School serves students and faculty in all UAA's graduate programs through its Graduate Advisory Council, professional development, internal advocacy and outreach activity.
To thrive in this role, the individual will exhibit creativity and skill in designing and maintaining appealing website material, navigating social media to message graduate programs and opportunities, and innovative use of new digital media to reach prospective and current students.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of three years experience with website design, social media marketing, and video production. Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
Position Details:
This position is located at the University of Alaska campus in Anchorage. This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule , Grade 79, based on education and experience.
