The Population Health Initiative has an outstanding opportunity for a graduate research assistant to join our team for summer quarter 2022 to support an ongoing research project that aims to better understand and promote community health and well-being data. The graduate research assistant would primarily be involved with assisting the team in developing plans for the launch and promotion of several innovative public health data tools. Key tasks and responsibilities for this position include:

• Working with the project team to plan the launch of three public health data tools for communities, including developing timelines, goals, and outcome metrics
• Developing written content for the project website
• Assisting the team in promoting the project through social media and other channels

DATES OF EMPLOYMENT:
Summer Quarter 2022 (June 16, 2022 to September, 15, 2022)

HOURS:
19.5 hours/week

REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be formally enrolled in the UW Graduate School for at least 10 credits during summer quarter 2022 and be in good standing
• Strong written communication skills
• Coursework in marketing and communications
• An interest in public health marketing or health communications
• Detail- and deadline- oriented
• Ability to work remotely and independently

TERMS:

CREDIT LOAD:
•  Must be formally enrolled in the UW Graduate School for at least 10 credits during Summer quarter 2022 and be in good standing

SALARY:
•  Compensation and benefits are based on the 2021-22 ASE salary schedules for a Schedule 1 pre-master research assistant.
•  2021-22 Salary Chart: TA/RA Salaries
