Position Summary
The Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) will assist Dr. Kevin Salfen and Judy Ruvuna in conducting a STARS AUDIT on UIW Sustainability performance, energy use, and management of UIW facilities.
Essential Functions
The GRA will assist with the following:
  • Sustainability Research,
  • Data Collection,
  • Outreach to UIW facilities,
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Must have good organizational, critical thinking, experience with Microsoft Office products including, Power point, Word, Teams, forms, and Excel spreadsheets;
  • Experience with production of graphical representations of data and typing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
  • Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University.
Required Education
UIW student currently enrolled in a graduate program and in good academic standing.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Data analysis and Sustainability
  • Some experience with Excel is desired.

Work Hours
The GRA will receive 3 credit hours of tuition assistance in exchange for a total of 150 hours within a semester.
