Job Summary
Promote graduate programs to corporations and alumni for the College of Business. Responsibilities include developing a corporate network, ensuring accurate communication with prospects, and actively participating in recruitment activities. You’ll also contribute to overall strategy, monitoring and reporting on effectiveness to superiors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Partner with other College of Business recruiting staff and program directors to market and promote the CoB graduate programs to corporations, business organizations, professional organizations, and undergraduate alumni in connection with recruitment of students via on campus and off campus events and visits.
  • Keep prospects informed by maintaining accurate communication from initial inquiry through the stages of applicant to enrolled student, including a smooth transition to appropriate graduate program directors.
  • Contribute to strategy, program goal setting, and tactic formation.
  • Collect prospect data and maintain prospective student information via CRM.
  • Monitor UTA reports related to graduate recruitment and admissions.
  • Develop and maintain a network of corporate contacts.
  • Contribute to the creation of an effective communication and recruitment strategy to disseminate program details and admission requirements to potential students and to influencers of potential students.
  • Collaborate with program directors as needed.
  • Continuously learn and update relevant program knowledge base to perpetuate accurate communications.
  • Regularly report effectiveness of efforts and attainment of goals and targets to supervisor, Dean, Associate Deans, and/or Program Directors.
  • Participate in all graduate recruitment activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Completed Master’s degree in a business discipline or closely related field from an AACSB, EQUIS, or AMBA accredited institution with two to three (2-3) years of professional business and industry background in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated elite customer service or building and managing client relationships in sales.
  • Solid interest and a commitment to higher education, specifically graduate business education.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Five (5) years of higher education recruiting experience or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of master’s programs and previous experience working with graduate programs and other higher education academic experiences from an AACSB, EQUIS, or AMBA accredited institution.
  • Sound understanding of the recruitment process and university databases.
  • Broad knowledge of institutional admission requirements.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Solid interpersonal skills for effectively relating to potential candidates and corporate entities that may provide leads to candidates.
  • Ability to source talented candidates through a variety of means including events, advertising, and databases.
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to speak in front of large groups.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and guidance upon completion of training.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to interact effectively with students, faculty, staff, and outside contacts.
  • Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and database management programs) and familiar with electronic communications strategies including social media.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential..
  • Should possess a good understanding of higher education and issues related to student affairs.
