Job Description:


The Graduate Program Administrator works closely with individual program areas to insure that program operations function in compliance with the Graduate Office policies and regulations. As part of this process, the Graduate Program Administrator serves as a representative to the School of EPPS in all matters related to graduate education in their program.
Although the nature of the Graduate Program Administrator appointments and responsibilities varies throughout program areas, they will have a primary role in supporting students and faculty in their academic programs and serve as the primary point of contact between the academic department/unit and the UTD Community. The School of EPPS, program faculty, graduate advisors, and students rely heavily on the professional assistance of the Graduate Program Administrator.

Minimum Qualifications:


Associates degree. Five years of administrative assistant or office manager experience. Two years of budgeting or accounting experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Education and Experience:


Requirements
  • Associate Degree
  • Five years of administrative assistant or office manager experience
  • One year of budgeting or accounting experience
  • Ability to learn PeopleSoft Financials, Time & Labor, and/or HCM modules
  • Ability to learn SciQuest/Jaggaer or another eProcurement system
  • Ability to quickly learn Orion and OnBase
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, Adobe and use of electronic forms
  • Knowledge of UT Dallas' or another UT System institution's administrative policies and procedures
  • Customer service experience with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and professional TEAMS demeanor
  • Collegiality and ability to work well with others
